Forest dept rescues elephant in West Medinipur

The personnel of forest department rescued an elephant in West Bengal's West Medinipur district.

The elephant entered in residential area on February 25.

While speaking to media, a forest official said, "The area was cordoned off to conduct the operation.

We tranquillized the elephant.

After observation, we will release the elephant in the forest."
