101st birth anniversary of the founding father of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was celebrated at Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala.
School children, local poets, intellectuals, singers, artists, and writers took part in the program.
A floral tribute was also paid to Mujibur.
The theme of this year's birth anniversary of Bangabandhu is "Bangabandhur Janmadi, Shishur Ridoy Hok Rangi" (Let children's life become colorful on Bangabandhu's birthday".
The day is also celebrated as Children's day in Bangladesh.

On April 26, the nation will witness the crucial voting phase of the 2024 general elections. Across 13 states, a total of 89 Lok Sabha constituencies will be up for polling.
