As the country is struggling with the second wave of coronavirus, people in several parts of the country are rushing towards vaccination centres to get themselves jabbed against COVID-19.
A long queue of people was seen at BKC jumbo vaccination centre in Mumbai on April 24.
Maharashtra reported 66,836 new COVID-19 cases, 74,045 recoveries and 773 deaths on April 23.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra's capital Mumbai reported 7,221 cases, 9,541 recoveries and 72 fatalities yesterday.

have seen their first increase in ranks, changing course
on a historic exodus of officers in recent years.

NBC reports that declining numbers left
many police departments with a shortage of
officers, which resulted in slower response times.
Chuck Wexler, executive director of PERF, warns that many police departments are still struggling to recruit and retain officers.
According to Wexler, law enforcement , "isn't out of the woods yet.".
At least a dozen smaller police departments in
the nation have been forced to disband, leaving those
municipalities reliant upon state or county police forces.
