8,593 MT Oxygen allocated to 23 states: Health Ministry

Amid oxygen crisis across the country in wake of the devastating second wave of COVID-19, Union Health Ministry on April 30 informed that 23 states have been allocated 8,593 Metric ton oxygen and is being distributed through coordination.

While addressing a press conference over COVID situation in the country, Union Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal on April 30 informed, "Health Ministry is closely coordinating with States regarding the availability and supply of medical oxygen- 8,593 MT has been allocated to 23 states."
