The constituency, comprising Siwalkhas, Chhaprauli, Baraut, Baghpat, and Modi Nagar Assembly segments, witnesses a clash of regional parties vying for electoral supremacy.
Sagwan is known for his connect with grassroots politics and was involved in student and farmer politics. He was associated with several agitations. He claims to have joined politics after being “inspired by Chaudhary Charan Singh”. Gaya, Bihar: Former Chief Minister of Bihar, Jitan Ram Manjhi, in a special conversation with 'One India News’, revealed the electoral scenario of Gaya Lok Sabha seat. Contesting the elections from the NDA alliance, Manjhi, former Chief Minister of Bihar and guardian of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), also gave a clarion call for a 400-plus victory.
