A climate activist tied herself to a net at the French Open over the weekend, delaying play on a men's semifinal match for approx 13 minutes.

The protester wore a shirt that read 'We have 1028 days left' — a reference to a recent United Nations report claiming humanity has a limited window to avert catastrophic climate change.

'I entered the field because I can no longer take the risk of doing nothing in the face of the climate emergency,' the 22-year-old woman, identified as Alizée, later said.
