After receiving heavy criticism for its teaser last year, Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, debuted a brand-new poster on Ram Navami, beginning of the movie's promotional campaign.
But the Adipurush team is now dealing with fresh problems after a complaint was lodged against the producer and director.
According to sources, a complaint has been made against Adipurush's producer, director, and cast for allegedly hurting people's religious feelings by incorrectly depicting a character from Hindu mythology in the movie's new poster.
Through Mumbai High Court Advocates Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra, Sanjay Dinanath Tiwari, who identifies as a preacher of Sanatan Dharma, filed the case at Mumbai's Sakinaka police station.
In a significant ruling, the Madhya Pradesh High Court declared that a marriage between a Hindu woman and a Muslim man is invalid under Muslim personal law, even if registered under the Special Marriage Act. This verdict came as the Court dismissed a plea by an interfaith couple seeking police protection to register their marriage under the Special Marriage Act.
