North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visited the Russian Embassy in Pyongyang to honor Soviet soldiers, marking 80 years since Nazi Germany's defeat. Standing beside top officials and his daughter, Kim called Putin his âclosest friendâ and condemned the rise of âneo-Nazismâ in Europe. He accused Ukrainian forces of invading Russia and confirmed that DPRK troops helped defend the Kursk region. Under a 2024 treaty with Russia, Kim warned that North Korea may intervene again militarily if Western-backed assaults continue.
