Adipurush Ban: Makers reduce ticket prices to Rs. 150 as box office numbers dip | Oneindia News
Adipurush, a movie starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has drawn harsh criticism for purportedly misrepresenting the Hindu epic Ramayana and its characters.
The film has also drawn criticism for a number of contentious statements made by the main characters.
Adipurush's producers announced on Wednesday that they have decided to lower the cost of tickets for the Prabhas-starring film to Rs 150.
Adipurush's box office receipts fell sharply on Monday and Tuesday as a result of an intensifying backlash against the movie.
Adipurush has come under fire for allegedly changing the plot and characters in the film adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana.
