West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee sustained injuries on her left knee and hip joints.
This happened after a rough emergency landing of a chopper that she was in.
The helicopter faced inclement weather conditions and had to make an emergency landing at the Sevoke airbase in the Darjeeling district on Tuesday afternoon.
The extent of ligament damage on Manata Banerjee’s left limb and hip joint was identified during medical examinations which took place at the SSKM Hospital in Kolkatalater in the day.
