Labour: Govt has completely lost control of borders
The shadow immigration minister says the government has "completely lost control" of the immigration system, as new Home Office figures show UK's asylum backlog hits a new record high, with 80 percent of people waiting longer than six months for an initial decision.
Stephen Kinnock adds Downing Street needs to "stop chasing headlines" and "going after gimmicks" in their bid to tackle rising immigration.
