China & Bhutan hold meeting on delimitation of boundary; to implement 3-step roadmap | Oneindia News
China and Bhutan have agreed to expedite and take simultaneous steps to implement a ‘three-step roadmap’ to resolve their boundary dispute.
A Chinese readout said on Thursday that the 13th Expert Group Meeting (EGM) on the China-Bhutan boundary issues was held in Beijing from August 21 to 24.
In October 2021, Bhutan and China signed an agreement on the "three-step roadmap" to expedite negotiations to resolve their boundary dispute.
Pakistan travel ban threat looms as Donald Trump’s administration considers broader restrictions on 41 nations. Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bhutan are among those facing potential US visa suspensions over security concerns. A draft report suggests that Islamabad must address deficiencies within 60 days to avoid partial restrictions. Ten nations, including Iran, North Korea, and Syria, face a full visa suspension. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry dismissed the reports as speculative. Meanwhile, a Pakistani diplomat was recently denied entry into the US, adding tension to the situation.
