J&K Anantnag: Locals,families mourn Army officers killed in encounter with terrorists |Oneindia News
A pall of gloom descended on villages in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Haryana as families and relatives mourned the killings of two decorated army officers, a Jammu and Kashmir police officer and an Army dog Kent of 21 Army Dog Unit, during an encounter with terrorists in Anantnag district a day earlier.
J&K Pahalgam Terror Attack: Mehbooba Mufti, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), led a protest march in Pahalgam following a deadly terror attack in the region. The attack, which took place in the popular tourist destination, left several security personnel dead and injured. Mufti condemned the attack and expressed her outrage, saying that "Kashmir is ashamed" of the ongoing violence. During the protest, she called for an immediate end to such attacks, stressing the need for peace and justice in the region.
