Jaishankar takes indirect swipe at China, says get over ‘west is a bad guy’ syndrome | Oneindia News
Taking an indirect swipe at China, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Sunday said the West was not the "bad guy" as it was not flooding Asian and African markets with goods on a massive scale and that there was a need to get over the "syndrome" of seeing it in a negative way.
Just hours after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire through DGMO-level talks, Pakistan has reportedly provoked again—forcing Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convene a high-level emergency meeting in Delhi. Attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, NSA Ajit Doval, and top military commanders, the meet focused on India’s readiness and response options.
