Two men have been jailed for life for the murder of footballer Cody Fisher, who was stabbed on Boxing Day, 2022. Remy Gordon, 23, and Kami Carpenter, 22, were both found guilty of his murder last month. Mr Fisher, 23, was the victim of a “sustained attack” inside a Birmingham nightclub, and died from a chest wound. Report by Jonesia. Labour closes in on a London mayoral victory for Sadiq Khan on Saturday. With just five of 14 constituencies declared, London’s Labour incumbent Mr Khan was leading with over 427,000 votes, with Ms Hall just over 234,000.
