Watch Along: TX Supreme Court Hears Arguments for Sterilizing & Mutilating Kids (SB14)

Join us for a LIVE Watch-Along on #Deprogrammed with Keri Smith, Wednesday, January 31st at 6pm CST.

We're watching footage from yesterday's arguments both for and against SB-14 in front of the Texas Supreme Court.

SB-14 is a Texas bill that bans Texas doctors from performing mutilating "gender transition" surgeries on children or giving often sterilizing puberty-blockers and cross-sex hormones to children.

The bill was to go into effect in September of 2023, but a district court judge issued a temporary injunction on the law, which resulted in Texas's Attorney General filing an appeal to the Texas Supreme Court, which allowed the ban to take effect September 1, 2023.

Those who support mutilating and sterilizing children are asking that the Texas Supreme Court reinstate the injunction on the ban.
