Mark Menzies lost the Conservative whip after claims emerged that he had used political donations to cover medical expenses.
Menzies disputes the allegations.

A 14-year-old boy killed in a sword attack as he walked to school has been named as Daniel Anjorin. The parents of Grace OāMalley-Kumar have blamed āfailingsā in the system for a series of stabbing attacks, including a sword attack in Hainault on Tuesday and a school stabbing in Sheffield on Wednesday.
