In a stunning escalation of the Ukraine conflict, Russian forces claim to have liberated five strategic towns in the Sumy and Donetsk regions over the past week. Moscow’s Defense Ministry reports an aggressive series of operations involving hypersonic Kinzhal missiles, precision UAV strikes, and the destruction of four US-made Patriot missile launchers.
With over 9,000 Ukrainian casualties allegedly inflicted across multiple battle groups, including thousands in Donetsk, the battlefield narrative is shifting dramatically. Russian forces also destroyed dozens of depots, radars, and artillery systems.
