Keir Starmer promises a budget for 'working people'

Sir Keir Starmer has promised a budget in favour of working people during a speech in Birmingham.

The prime minister says he has already started the work of "stabilising the economy" and "fixing its foundations".

"It's working people that pay the price when their government fails to deliver economic stability," he added.
