US Military Launches Airstrikes on ‘Iran-Aligned Sites’ in Syria, Day After Attack on Command Center
The US military has launched a series of airstrikes targeting sites in Syria associated with Iran-aligned groups, a day after an assault on America’s largest command centre in the region.

The Syrian Army has evacuated the city of Hama after jihadist forces, led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, seized control following intense clashes. The insurgents' victory marks a significant shift in the ongoing conflict, as Hama had remained under government control throughout the civil war. The jihadist leader, Abu Mohammed al-Golani, pledged that there would be no revenge on the city's residents, despite the historical context of Hama's prior uprisings.
