Millions of devout Hindus gathered at Prayagraj’s Triveni Sangam on Makar Sankranti to partake in the sacred Amrit Snan during Maha Kumbh.
Vibrant processions, led by Naga sadhus and saints of 13 akharas, marked the spiritual spectacle with chants of "Har Har Gange" and "Har Har Mahadev." The Shri Panchayati Akhara Mahanirvani began the holy dips, symbolizing sin-cleansing and devotion.
Organized crowds stretched over 8-10 km as 3-4 crore devotees are expected.
Swami Kailashanand Giri hailed the rare significance of the occasion as a privilege even for gods.
