In a bold response under Operation Sindoor, the BSF struck terror launchpads reportedly used by Pakistani Rangers to infiltrate terrorists. BSF IG Jammu Shashank Anand confirmed that women personnel were deployed at forward posts, with Assistant Commandant Neha Bhandari leading a frontline team. Brave constables including Manjit Kaur, Malkit Kaur, Jyoti, Sampa, and Swapna fought with valor. In Pakistan’s drone and shelling retaliation, India lost Sub-Inspector Mohammad Imtiyaz, Constable Deepak Kumar, and Naik Sunil Kumar. BSF Constable Purnam Kumar Shaw has returned to India after spending 21 days in Pakistan's custody.
