15 Indian civilians killed, 40+ Injured | Pak opens fire at LoC | India-Pak Tensions
Hours after India targetted terror camps inside Pakistani territory via its precision missile strike in its Operation Sindoor, Pakistan resorted to opening indiscriminate fire and heavy shelling at the LoC targetting civilians in the Poonch sector.
Indian forces hit back strongly by causing major military damage to the Pakistani artillery.
Civilians are being moved to safer spaces as Pakistan doesnāt even stop from targetting innocent civilians after India precisely targetted terror camps inside Pakistan.
Cambodia is set to nominate U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, crediting his pivotal role in negotiating a ceasefire between Cambodia and Thailand after a deadly five-day border conflict. Cambodiaās Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol hailed Trumpās āgreat efforts for peace,ā saying his intervention ā including threats to pull out of trade talks ā forced both Southeast Asian nations to come to the negotiating table.
The ceasefire, brokered in Malaysia, ended the regionās worst violence in over a decade, which left at least 43 people dead and displaced over 300,000. Trump said the war āwould have turned nasty,ā but was halted by leveraging trade diplomacy. This marks Trumpās third recent Nobel recommendation, following nominations by Israel and Pakistan for mediating other global crises. The Cambodian leader also praised Trump for reducing tariffs on Cambodian exports, sparing the nationās garment and footwear sector from economic collapse.
