Foreign Secy Vikram Misri exposes Pak on fake claims on Air force station in Sirsa & Afghanistan
New Delhi: Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that India has responded in measured manner against Pakistan’s provocations.
He also reacted to Pakistani Army’s claims that Indian missiles hit Afghanistan and the Air force station is destroyed in Sirsa calling the “completely false.” Further, he also spoke on the Pakistan’s shelling in Rajouri which claimed the life of district official.
Vikram Misri said, “It is Pakistani actions that have constituted provocation and escalation.
In response, and I repeat, in response, India has defended itself and reacted in a responsible and measured manner to these provocations and escalations by the Pakistani side.
Earlier this morning, we saw a repeat of this escalatory and provocative pattern, the claims they (Pakistan) have made about attacking and destroying various places, military installations, and facilities, as pointed out by my colleagues here this morning, are completely false.
The claim about the Air Force station in Sirsa being destroyed is completely false, as you have seen.
The claim about the Air Force station in Suratgarh being destroyed is also completely false.
There is a claim that has been made that the S-400 base at Adhampur was destroyed; once again, that is completely false...Earlier this morning, Pakistan shelled the town of Rajouri, killing the Additional District Development Commissioner, Shri Rajkumar Thapa, adding to the civilian casualties and damage in that state.
We have also observed overnight damage to property and injuries to civilians in Firozpur and Jalandhar, among other places.
Finally, as I mentioned, Pakistani officials continue to make ludicrous claims about India firing missiles towards Shri Amritsar Sahib.
As I said, these lame attempts to divide India are doomed to failure" #OperationSindoor #IndianArmy #IndoPakwar
