The cause of death for the two-time Grammy-winner is being reported as natural causes.

The pioneering jazz musician and composer's career spanned five decades.

He is most recognized for his instrumental hit single, "Feels So Good," released in 1977.

This tune became a cultural phenomenon, reaching #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping the adult contemporary chart in 1978.
