India finally embraces trade deals as companies look past China

India has accelerated its pace in forming Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), signing four such deals in quick succession since 2021, marking the end of a nine-year period without any new agreements. The most recent agreement with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) has been notably praised by PM Modi, aligning closely with the upcoming elections where he aims to continue his governance.
