'Stree' biggest opener of 2024; collects Rs 54 crore

Stree 2 made a huge splash on Independence Day, earning Rs 54.35 crore on its opening day. The sequel, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, outperformed other releases, including Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa. With a 75.09% occupancy rate, it achieved the highest opening of 2024.
