Deja vu moment for Lok Sabha as speaker Om Birla skips House, Adhir Chowdhury mollifies him
The Lok Sabha experienced a deja vu moment when speaker Om Birla skipped from the proceedings of the House for the second consecutive day to express displeasure over the repeated disruptions by the opposition and the treasury benches. Leader of the Congress in the Lower House Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury requested Birla to resume coming to the House after which the speaker came in the post-lunch session. A similar incident had taken place in March 2020.
