J-K: Indian Army stops infiltration attempt along LoC in Poonch; two Pakistani terrorists killed
Monday, 21 August 2023 The bodies of the slain terrorists could not be retrieved as they managed to flee across the Line of Control (LoC) before succumbing to their injuries, suffered during a gunfight with the Army, according to an Indian Army spokesperson.
The forest department in Nainital has called for the assistance of the Indian Air Force and the Indian Army to combat a relentless forest fire that has been raging for over 36 hours, consuming numerous hectares of lush greenery. Helicopters have been deployed by the district administration to aid in firefighting efforts. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced plans to convene a meeting to address the escalating situation of the Nainital forest fire in Haldwani district.
