The official website for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) has exposed the personal information of participants who applied for the festival's Creative Minds of Tomorrow segment. The breach in cyber-security protocols allowed access to Aadhaar data, PAN cards, driving licences, and passport copies of over 100 individuals. The IFFI website has outsourced the creative minds portal to a separate web development agency, which is responsible for the breach. The organisers assure that the data of IFFI delegates is safe. The incident highlights the importance of robust access control mechanisms and secure handling of sensitive data.
