Congress says pollution rising in Mumbai; demands implementation of MVA 'action plan', audit of MMR projects costs

Mumbai Congress chief Varsha Gaikwad has raised concerns about the city's deteriorating air quality, blaming it on increased pollution from dust, factories, power plants, airports, and garbage dumps. She urged the Maharashtra government to implement the previous MVA regime's climate action plan, which includes measures to control construction hours, enforce pollution rules at construction sites, create eco-parks, and ensure proper waste disposal.
