Will scrap 4% Muslim quota, hike SC, ST, OBC quota: BJP
Sunday, 29 October 2023 Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy has announced that if his party comes to power, it will cancel the 4% quota for certain backward members of the Muslim community in educational institutions and jobs. He also stated that the BJP government will enhance the OBC, SC, and ST quotas. Reddy further mentioned that the party will adopt a tough approach, similar to that in Uttar Pradesh, to tackle the mafia, corruption, and rowdyism in the Old City. He also criticized the Congress and AIMIM parties for their handling of the situation.
