Congress-Left talks on seat sharing alive; CPI, CPM central leadership to take final call in Telangana
Saturday, 4 November 2023 The Congress party in Telangana is still in talks with the CPM and CPI regarding a pre-poll alliance, despite an announcement by the CPM that it will contest the assembly polls alone. The CPI has delegated the responsibility of finalizing the alliance to its central leadership. The Congress leadership is under pressure not to ally with the Left parties. The CPM has released a list of 17 seats it intends to contest and will support the stronger candidate from Congress or BRS in other areas.

While food prices held steady for the month, they increased 2.2% year-over-year.

The market is now eyeing June for the possibility of rate cuts, Yahoo Finance reports. .
