Centre bans 22 illegal betting apps & websites, including Mahadev app

The Indian government has issued blocking orders against 22 illegal betting apps and websites, including Mahadev Book Online, following investigations by the Enforcement Directorate. The ministry of electronics and information technology stated that the raids on Mahadev Book in Chhattisgarh uncovered the app's unlawful operations. Two individuals, including a constable in the Chhattisgarh Police force, have been arrested under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
