Tuesday, 14 November 2023 The tunnel collapsed on Sunday in Uttarakhand, a mountainous state dotted with Hindu temples that attract many pilgrims and tourists.
Attempts to rescue labourers in Uttarkashi continued for the sixth day on Friday. 40 workers were trapped after the collapse of a portion of an under-construction tunnel on the Yamunotri National Highway in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district.
