Mom, girl step on livewire on Bengaluru footpath, electrocuted

Five officials from Bescom have been arrested and released on bail following the death of a woman and her child due to a snapped wire. The officials claim they were not alerted about the wire. The incident has sparked protests, with locals demanding proper action be taken and the suspension of the executive engineer. The woman had returned to Bengaluru from Tamil Nadu when she stepped on the live wire and electrocuted.
