The head granthi of Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Kartarpur, released a video defending the Project Management Unit (PMU) after criticism of a party at Kartarpur Corridor. He claimed there was no breach of Sikh religious conduct during the dinner and accused certain individuals of spreading negative propaganda. A group of 54 members from India, including Punjab Legislative Assembly speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, also stated that the dinner was hosted two kilometers away from the Gurdwara and had no connection to it.
