Union Rural Development Minister Giriraj Singh called for a ban on the sale of halal certified products in Bihar, accusing it of being a 'jihad' aimed at the 'Islamisation of businesses'. Singh urged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to follow the example of the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh. He claimed that the sale of halal certified products is linked to terrorist activities and poses a threat to Sanatan Dharma. In response, JD(U) accused the BJP of hypocrisy, highlighting their leaders' involvement in beef exports.
