On 57th birthday, Bhajan Lal takes oath as 14th Rajasthan chief minister
Friday, 15 December 2023 Bhajan Lal Sharma, a first-time MLA, was sworn in as the 14th chief minister of Rajasthan in the presence of PM Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda, and others at Albert Hall in Jaipur. Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa were sworn in as deputy CMs in a 13-minute ceremony presided over by governor Kalraj Mishra. Before the ceremony, Sharma washed his parents' feet and received their blessings. The celebration marked Sharma's 57th birthday.
