PM Modi's gift to Varanasi; Saffron-coloured Vande Bharat Express train and eastern dedicated freight corridor
Monday, 18 December 2023 Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the saffron-coloured Vande Bharat Express train running between Varanasi and New Delhi. He will also dedicate the new Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction to the New Bhaupur Junction of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. The train will provide a fast and modern travel option for travellers heading to Prayagraj, Kanpur, and New Delhi. The Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor, with 12 stations including junction and crossing stations, passes through several districts in Uttar Pradesh.
