Fast-shrinking Chor Bazaar fights to keep edge in e-age

IndiaTimes Sunday, 31 December 2023
Haji Ebrahim Record Shop and Chor Bazaar in Mumbai have lost their relevance. The famous Mutton Street in Chor Bazaar has been partially taken over by a redevelopment project. Despite rumors of Chor Bazaar's demise, it will survive as long as people have a taste for antique pieces. Chor Bazaar got its name from the distortion of 'Shor Bazaar,' which was known for scrap units and the noise they created. Chor Bazaar continues to attract buyers and visitors with its unique offerings, including old film posters and rare objects.
