PM Modi extends New Year greetings in his first public speech of 2024 at a meeting in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. He wishes for a peaceful and prosperous 2024 and congratulates the people on the launch of development projects worth nearly Rs 20,000 crore. During his visit, PM Modi inaugurates a new terminal building at Trichy airport, dedicates railway and road projects, and opens a boys' hostel at NIT Tiruchirappalli. He will also visit Lakshadweep and Kerala in the next two days.
