Amid chanting of hymns and vedic mantras, the historic Pran Pratishtha (consecration ceremony) of Ram Lalla was held at the sanctum sanctorum of the Ayodhya temple during the Mool Muhurat on Monday.Prime Minister Narendra Modi, designated the chief yajman by the temple trust, led the rituals and unveiled the beautiful Ram Lalla idol adorned in gold and yellow. "The consecration of idol of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya is an extraordinary and emotional moment," the Prime Minister said after leading the rituals.
