BMC says challenge to race course proposal is a PIL; CJ to decide bench

BMC argues that the petitions against the proposed theme park at Mahalaxmi race course should be treated as PIL and placed before a bench assigned to hear PILs. The bench sought an administrative order on the matter. Senior counsel Janak Dwarkadas and Navroz Seervai mentioned the urgency of the matter before the Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya's bench.
