Imam quizzed over 'links' with arrested IIT-G student
Sunday, 7 April 2024 () STF and Assam Police interrogated the mosque's imam regarding IIT-Guwahati student Tauseef Ali Farooqi's case. Tauseef, arrested for planning to join IS, sent an email about moving to Afghanistan. The imam mentioned Muslim students' visits, and Tauseef is in police custody.
Humza Yousaf has announced his resignation as Scotland's first minister ahead of forthcoming confidence votes.
