Cafe blast duo's mobile shop visit gave sleuths lucky breakthrough
Saturday, 13 April 2024 () Two fugitive suspects of the Bengaluru cafe blast, Taha and Shazib, were arrested in Digha. They left behind a crucial clue in a Kolkata mobile repair shop, leading to their capture by NIA and Bengal Police after a coordinated operation.
A legal complaint has been lodged against Tejasvi Surya, the Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate from Bengaluru South and incumbent Member of Parliament, for allegedly appealing for votes based on religious affiliations. The Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer released a statement via the microblogging platform X, asserting that Mr. Surya had shared a video on social media explicitly soliciting votes on religious grounds. The case has been officially registered with the Jayanagar police station in Bengaluru.
