IndiaTimes Tuesday, 27 August 2024
Guardian minister of Mumbai City Deepak Kesarkar has proposed an underground aquarium on the Mafatlal land near Byculla Zoo. However, BMC's feasibility report indicates an additional cost of Rs 200 crore. Earlier plans for an aquarium at Worli were scrapped, and the Byculla zoo already attracts many visitors with exhibits like Humboldt penguins.
