The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported a significant increase in Indian deportations, with one Indian deported every six hours in 2024, rising by 400% since 2021. Contributing to this rise are changes in US immigration policies and enforcement priorities, with nearly 18,000 undocumented Indians currently on the deportation list.
