Armed with rocket launchers and IEDs, BLA insurgents sabotaged train tracks and ambushed the train inside a tunnel, capturing over 300 Pakistan military personnel. While women and children were released, the BLA used the platform to issue a rallying cry for resistance, denouncing Pakistan’s alleged extrajudicial killings and accusing the UN of ignoring what they call a Baloch genocide.
