GBS outbreak: 45 days, 203 patients, Pune now a cautionary tale

A 59-year-old man from Khadakwasla became the eighth casualty linked to Pune's Guillain-Barré Syndrome outbreak. Over 200 cases have been reported, with many patients in critical condition. The outbreak is suspected to be caused by bacteria in untreated water from local wells.
